Description
On the hunt for my muse:
I wanted to use different papers/textures in this book when I could. The fact I had two different papers next to each other led me to create this piece. The right side is black drawing paper and the left I carefully glued tissue as to create a more 3-dimensional looking curtain and to tie in that the two sides into a single picture.
I love how my jiji-cat came out on the right! I love doing highlights though it's not something I'm especially good at.
Medium: pen, colored pencil, white charcoal pencil, facial tissue

I love your use of different types & colors of paper and pencil 
In this and the mirror and window ones... And here, using light on the kitty to shape a figure rather than outlining it with dark. Not many people seem to dare try such things (I only ever did something sorta like it twice, myself 
) but it can work very, very well as shown here
