Tree

Last Monday, President's day, El and I had the day off so I was home trying to keep her occupied (she had been sick most the weekend).  I pulled out some scrap cardboard and decided we should paint some sort of garden on them and then attach the fences (little wood craft shapes that looked like fences) we had painted earlier in the month.  Instead of a garden, I ended up with this tree and the sun and moon; just letting myself go wherever.  The painting came to an end when El took a look at my picture and declared she liked mine better and wanted me to show her how to paint a tree like I did.  Before I could even attempt any of this, she walked away, completely forlorn and discouraged.  That ending just sucked...but I do like my painting though it wasn't suppose to make her feel bad!
